Job Summary
Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities. Consult, educate, and train patients and caregivers while developing treatment strategies that include exercise regimens to increase flexibility, strength, or endurance. Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments, utilize adaptive equipment, and monitor patient progress to restore physical function and prevent permanent disability. Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers regarding patient needs and goals. Maintain a clean work environment per health department codes and assist in research initiatives as assigned. Full-time, 40-hour week at St. James Hospital in Butte, Montana.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
- Current/valid state Physical Therapist licensure
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
- One (1) year related experience (preferably in a clinic setting)
- Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts
- Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and applications
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Highly organized and analytical
- Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
- A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
