Job Summary
Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients for injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities. Consult with and educate patients and their caregivers while developing treatment strategies that include exercise regimens to increase flexibility, strength, or endurance. Document initial and ongoing assessments, relieve pain, reduce swelling, and restore physical function to help patients reintegrate into the workplace or community. Maintain a clean environment per health department codes and assist in research initiatives as assigned. Perform duties onsite at St. James Hospital in Butte, Montana, with a full-time 40-hour schedule, earning between $43.09 and $66.47 hourly plus up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
- Current/valid state Physical Therapist licensure
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
- One (1) year related experience (preferably in a clinic setting)
- Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts
- Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and applications
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Highly organized and analytical
- Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
- A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
