Job Summary
Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities in accordance with standard practices. Consult with and educate patients and their caregivers on treatment plans, exercise regimens, and adaptive equipment. Document initial and ongoing assessments, develop treatment strategies with anticipated outcomes, and monitor patient progress to restore physical function, improve mobility, and prevent permanent disability. Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers while maintaining a clean environment per health department codes. Assist in research initiatives as assigned. Full-time, 40-hour week at St. James Hospital in Butte.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
- Current/valid state Physical Therapist licensure
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
- One (1) year related experience (preferably in a clinic setting)
- Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts
- Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and applications
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Highly organized and analytical
- Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
- A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
