Job Summary
Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities. Consult, educate, and train patients and caregivers while developing treatment strategies, exercise regimens, and adaptive equipment plans. Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments, relieve pain, reduce swelling, and restore physical function to help patients reintegrate into the workplace or community. Maintain a clean environment, communicate with physicians and families, and assist in research initiatives. Full-time, 40 hours/week at St. James Hospital in Butte.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
- Current/valid state Physical Therapist licensure
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
- One (1) year related experience
- Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts
- Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and applications
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Highly organized and analytical
- Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
- A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
