Job Summary
Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients' conditions, developing treatment strategies that include exercise regimens and various modalities to relieve pain and reduce swelling. Provide information regarding adaptive equipment and support programs while helping to restore physical function, improve mobility, and prevent permanent disability. Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers about patient needs and goals, and maintain a clean work environment according to health department codes. Assisting in research initiatives as assigned. Full-time, 40 hours/week at St. James Hospital in Butte, Montana. Eligible caregivers may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
- Current/valid state Physical Therapist licensure
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
- One (1) year related experience (preferably in a clinic setting)
- Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts
- Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and applications
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Highly organized and analytical
- Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
- A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
