Job Summary
Perform screenings, testing, and evaluations for injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures. Consult with and educate patients and caregivers while developing treatment strategies, exercise regimens, and adaptive equipment plans to restore function and prevent disability. Document assessments and monitor progress to help patients reintegrate into the workplace or community. Maintain a clean environment per health codes and assist in research initiatives as assigned. This full-time role at St. James Hospital in Butte, Montana, supports a team focused on patient growth within a collaborative Intermountain Health environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
- Current/valid state Physical Therapist licensure
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
- One (1) year related experience (preferably in a clinic setting)
- Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts
- Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and applications
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Highly organized and analytical
- Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
- A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
