Job Summary
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients' conditions, developing treatment strategies that include exercise regimens and various modalities to relieve pain and reduce swelling. Provide information regarding adaptive equipment, helping to restore physical function, improve mobility, and prevent permanent disability while determining patients' ability to reintegrate into the workplace. Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers about patient needs and goals, promoting the mission of Intermountain Health. Maintain a clean work environment according to health department codes and assist in research initiatives as assigned. Perform duties in a full-time, 40-hour week at St. James Hospital in Butte, Montana, with a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 for eligible caregivers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
- Current/valid state Physical Therapist licensure
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
- One (1) year related experience (preferably in a clinic setting)
- Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts
- Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and applications
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Highly organized and analytical
- Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
- A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
