Job Summary
Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities. Consult, educate, and train patients and caregivers while performing and documenting initial and ongoing assessments. Develop treatment strategies including exercise regimens to increase flexibility, strength, or endurance, and use various modalities to relieve pain and reduce swelling. Provide information on adaptive equipment, help restore physical function, and determine patients' ability to reintegrate into the workplace or community. Maintain a clean environment per health codes, communicate effectively with patients, families, and providers, and assist in research initiatives as assigned. Work full-time at St. James Hospital in Butte.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
- Current/valid state Physical Therapist licensure
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
- One (1) year related experience (preferably in a clinic setting)
- Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts
- Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and applications
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Highly organized and analytical
- Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
- A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
