Job Summary
Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities. Consult, educate, and train patients and caregivers on adaptive equipment and support programs to restore function and prevent disability. Develop treatment strategies including home exercise regimens to increase flexibility, strength, or endurance while relieving pain and swelling. Document initial and ongoing assessments, communicate patient goals with physicians and families, and maintain a clean environment per health codes. Assist in research initiatives as assigned. Full-time, 40 hours/week at St. James Hospital in Butte, Montana. Eligible caregivers may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
- Current/valid state Physical Therapist licensure
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
- One (1) year related experience (preferably in a clinic setting)
- Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts
- Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and applications
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Highly organized and analytical
- Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
- A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
