Job Summary
Screen, test, evaluate, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities while consulting, educating, and training patients and their caregivers. Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments, develop treatment strategies including exercise regimens, and utilize various modalities to relieve pain and reduce swelling. Provide adaptive equipment guidance, restore physical function, improve mobility, and determine patients' ability to reintegrate into the workplace or community. Maintain a clean environment per health codes, communicate effectively with patients, families, and providers, and assist in research initiatives as assigned. Full-time, 40-hour week at St. James Hospital in Butte, MT.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
- Current/valid state Physical Therapist licensure
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
- One (1) year related experience
- Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts
- Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and applications
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Highly organized and analytical
- Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
- A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
