Job Summary
Perform and interpret electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies (NCS) as part of a comprehensive diagnostic service while providing specialized outpatient musculoskeletal medicine and physical rehabilitation. Diagnose and treat patients with injuries, diseases, or disabling conditions affecting musculoskeletal health, including administering injections, and collaborate with orthopedics, neurology, and surgical teams to guide patient care. Participate in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents through our academic affiliation with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM). Maintain a Monday-Friday outpatient schedule within Centralus Health's integrated multidisciplinary team in Elmira, New York.
Required Qualifications
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician (PM&R)/Physiatrist
- Expertise in electromyography (EMG/NCS)
- M.D. or D.O.
- Fellowship training or significant clinical experience in EMG/NCV
- Current or eligible NY State medical license
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
- Monday-Friday outpatient schedule
