Job Summary
Prepare and dispense medication orders per physician request, reviewing all drug orders for appropriateness regarding drug, dose, and frequency. Identify and resolve drug-related problems, including potential allergic reactions and drug interactions, while ensuring safe, appropriate, and cost-effective therapies. Oversee the activities of supportive personnel working in the area to contribute to the quality and effective operation of the department. Ensure patient medications arrive at the confirmed delivery address in a timely manner without delaying care. Maintain competence required for the current job title.
Required Qualifications
- Other Degree in pharmacy from an accredited school
- 1-2 years experience
- Licensed Pharmacist - MO
- Licensed Pharmacist - KS
- Employees must obtain Licensed Pharmacist - MO or equivalent within 90 days
- PHARM LIC MO Licensed Pharmacist - MO or proof of pharmacy technician license, pharmacy intern license, or application submitted to board of pharmacy prior to hire with pharmacist license obtained within 90 days of hire
- PHARM LIC KS Licensed Pharmacist - KS or proof of pharmacy technician license, pharmacy intern license, or application submitted to board of pharmacy prior to hire with pharmacist license obtained within 90 days of hire
- Only if the primary work location is Kansas

Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in Specialty Pharmacy
- 2 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred
