Job Summary
Pharmacist Intern - Year Two for UW Medical Center-Montlake, performing technical pharmaceutical functions under supervision, including order entry into ambulatory pharmacy system, filling prescriptions, ScriptPro batching, online processing, patient assistance with new prescriptions and refills, determining payment methods, charging and billing, compounding under supervision, referring clinical inquiries, assisting with patient counseling, discharge medication bedside delivery, and prescription transfers. Requires current enrollment as a UW School of Pharmacy year-two student and WA Board of Pharmacy certification as Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist Intern. Drug screen required. Per diem with rotating/variable shifts; this is a temporary position at UW Medical Center-Montlake in Seattle, WA.
Required Qualifications
- Open only to currently enrolled students in the UW School of Pharmacy year two
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist Intern with the Washington State Board of Pharmacy
- Pre-employment drug screen
- Per Diem rotating shifts
- Temporary position
