Job Summary
Outpatient Pelvic Physical Therapist providing specialized therapy services with emphasis on pelvic health. Responsibilities include performing evaluations and re-evaluations, supervising PTAs and rehabilitation aides, and documenting/charging accurately per insurance and department standards. You will participate in community outreach and physician/physician-practice marketing to build referral relationships, support public awareness through educational lectures and other community activities, and adapt work hours to patient census and center needs. The role emphasizes maintaining clinical competencies, applying evidence-based practices, and contributing to the interdisciplinary team across Lake Wales and Davenport locations. Licensure requirements and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy are required or mandated for eligibility; BLS/CPR certification is required. The position offers a sign-on bonus up to $10,000, relocation assistance up to $3,000, and is scheduled to Monday–Friday with 8-hour shifts; hours may vary to support program needs.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (e.g., DPT) or equivalent
- Licenses/Certifications: Physical Therapist (PT) or PT-TEMP; Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR; eligibility for licensure in Florida
- Experience in outpatient settings preferred
- Ability to travel between locations as required
