Job Summary
Outpatient Pediatrician needed for a full-time, permanent role at a community health center in the Southern Illinois/St. Louis metro area. Provide comprehensive pediatric care in an outpatient clinic setting, including preventive services, acute and chronic disease management, immunizations, and well-child visits. Expect a Monday–Friday day shift with no nights or weekends. Requirements include an MD or DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics, IL licensure eligibility, and a patient-centered approach within a diverse population. Compensation ranges $200k–$250k with a robust benefits package (401(k) match, health benefits, FSA/HSA, life/AD&D, disability insurance, PTO, parental leave, tuition reimbursement, EAP, and more). Required Qualifications
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Illinois
- 2+ years of experience as a Pediatrician preferred
- New graduates encouraged to apply
- Strong knowledge of pediatric medicine including acute and chronic condition management, disease prevention, and health promotion
- Cultural competency to deliver care across diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
