Job Summary
Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist - PRN position delivering professional, technically proficient PT services to assigned patients in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, planning and implementing treatment, ongoing re-assessment and discharge planning, and providing direct and indirect patient care per the Practice of Physical Therapy Act/Rules. Required qualifications include a PT degree from an accredited program, BLS, valid Texas license or temporary license, and at least 1 year of licensed PT experience. The role emphasizes clear communication, relationship-building, accountability, continuous improvement of the patient experience, proactive professional growth, and teamwork within Methodist Dallas Medical Center, a Magnet-designated, acute-care teaching hospital with Level I trauma designation in North Texas.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate program in Physical Therapy
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Required Valid Texas License or Temporary License
- 1 year Licensed PT
