Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical limitations and create customized therapy plans tailored to individual recovery goals. Deliver hands-on, evidence-based therapy sessions focused on restoring mobility, alleviating pain, and enhancing functional capacity using advanced manual techniques and therapeutic exercise regimens. Treat each patient individually, managing one patient per hour to ensure focused attention, while tracking progress and adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing clinical judgment. Collaborate closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to ensure a holistic approach, and engage in a structured mentorship program with a fellowship-trained therapist. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM at our Boulder City rehabilitation center, serving orthopedic patients recovering from joint replacements, fractures, and soft tissue injuries.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's Degree (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- An active Physical Therapy license in Nevada
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- A solid understanding of rehabilitation protocols
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for clinical documentation
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic or rehabilitation setting
- Experience with evidence-based practice methodologies and treatment protocols aimed at orthopedic rehabilitation
- A history of working in a collaborative team environment
