Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify physical therapy needs and create tailored, evidence-based treatment plans. Utilize manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to facilitate recovery and enhance functional mobility for adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, sports-related issues, joint replacements, and chronic pain. Provide patient education on strategies to maintain movement health beyond therapy sessions and document treatment progress accurately in the electronic health record system. Collaborate with physicians and occupational therapists to ensure comprehensive care while engaging in continuous professional development through workshops and training sessions.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field from an accredited institution
- A valid Nevada Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings
