Job Summary
Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to determine rehabilitation needs, then develop and implement customized treatment plans utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities. Work with 1 to 2 patients per hour while regularly monitoring progress to adjust plans for recovery milestones. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with industry standards. Focus on orthopedic rehabilitation for post-operative and chronic pain clients in an outpatient setting. Schedule includes weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Active Florida state license as a Physical Therapist
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of two years of experience working in an outpatient setting
Desired Qualifications
- Orthopedic rehabilitation experience
- Experience with advanced modalities such as dry needling or Graston technique
- Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Familiarity with evidence-based practice approaches in physical therapy
