Job Summary
Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities. Consult, educate, and train patients, families, and caregivers while collaborating with care teams to deliver patient-centered care. Develop care plans with specific goals based on patient assessments and supervise assistants, aides, office staff, and students. Maintain thorough patient records, complete billing accurately, and participate in quality improvement processes, utilization review audits, and interdisciplinary meetings. Contribute to program development and marketing strategies to grow the physical therapy program. Work Monday through Friday at Intermountain Health Riverton Hospital, Riverton, Utah, with varying shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Required Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in states where you work
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Possess skill sets and experience with target population of job setting
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy
- Physical ability to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
- Physical ability to bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment up to and including heavy items
- Physical ability to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients
- Physical ability to navigate crowded and busy rooms
- Physical ability to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time
- Basic Computer skills
