Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist

Screen, test, evaluate, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities. Consult, educate, and train patients, families, and caregivers while collaborating with care teams to deliver patient-centered care. Conduct evaluations and treatments according to professional standards, develop care plans with specific goals, and supervise assistants, aides, office staff, and students. Maintain thorough patient records, complete billing accurately, and participate in quality improvement processes and utilization review audits. Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers, and contribute to program development and marketing strategies. Engage in interdisciplinary meetings and professional groups to achieve department goals.
