Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical function, mobility, and overall health status, then develop and implement personalized treatment plans using manual therapy techniques and exercise interventions. Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to maximize effectiveness, while educating patients and families on injury prevention and lifestyle modifications. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care delivery for individuals managing orthopedic conditions, post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Requires a current active New York State license, Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, and minimum two years of outpatient experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current active license as a Physical Therapist in New York State
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Strong clinical reasoning and critical thinking skills
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting
