Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions to develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for those recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Implement hands-on therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education while monitoring progress and documenting all findings in the electronic health record system. Educate patients on self-management techniques and collaborate with physicians and occupational therapists to ensure comprehensive care. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM within a modern rehabilitation facility in Mesquite, NV.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- A valid license to practice physical therapy in Nevada or eligibility to obtain one
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in outpatient physical therapy
- Proficiency in using electronic health records systems for managing patient documentation and tracking progress
Desired Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- Experience working specifically in orthopedic rehabilitation
- Previous exposure to hands-on treatment techniques and a variety of therapeutic modalities
