Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify functional limitations and establish individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. Deliver high-quality, one-on-one physical therapy services utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and neuromuscular re-education while monitoring progress and modifying plans as needed. Educate patients and caregivers on diagnoses, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies. Complete timely, accurate documentation within the electronic medical record and supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and rehabilitation technicians in accordance with Virginia practice standards. Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and insurance providers to coordinate care, maintain productivity standards, and foster a positive clinic environment. Participate in continuing education to maintain current clinical knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program
- Current or eligible for Virginia Physical Therapist licensure
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
