Job Summary
Outpatient Oncology Dietitian provides medical nutrition therapy and counseling, assesses and monitors nutritional status of oncology patients, develops and implements nutrition care plans, documents care activities, and educates patients/families. Collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other disciplines to integrate nutrition into total patient care; performs in-services and mentors dietetic interns/residents; supports learning needs and educates through materials and presentations; part of Advocate Health system with varied benefits and schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian (RD) licensure or eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field if CDR registration eligibility obtained prior to Jan 1, 2024, or Master’s degree if initial CDR registration obtained on or after Jan 1, 2024
