Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care in an outpatient oncology clinic, including administering prescribed medications and treatments, coordinating patient care with physicians and healthcare team, assisting providers during procedures and examinations, preparing equipment, managing appointment flow and prioritizing emergencies, collecting health histories and vitals, documenting in patient charts, instructing patients on diagnostics, medications, nutrition, and wellness, and maintaining exam rooms and lab labeling per protocol. Requires active RN license in state of practice and demonstrates strong communication, assessment, and education skills to support oncology patients and their families.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- Board of Nursing not expired and in good standing
- Ability to perform essential nursing duties described in job posting
