Job Summary
Provide outpatient therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist in Florida senior living communities. Implement individualized treatment plans, assist residents with regaining skills related to daily living, mobility, and fine motor function, track and document resident progress, and report changes to the OT. Educate residents and caregivers on therapy techniques, coordinate with the care team to ensure goal-driven care, and maintain documentation in compliance with Florida state and federal guidelines. Required Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program
- Current Florida OTA license (required)
- Senior living or similar experience preferred
- Ability to be accredited by all insurance payers
- CPR certification (as required by facility or state regulations)
- Strong documentation, time management, and communication skills
