Job Summary
Review physician referrals and patient medical records to determine required treatment plans. Instruct and assist patients in performing physical activities and using assistive devices such as crutches, canes, and prostheses. Record treatment responses and progress in patient charts or electronic systems. Monitor patient advancement and adjust treatment plans as necessary. This full-time outpatient role offers a day shift schedule of five 8-hour or four 10-hour shifts, starting pay of $41.00 per hour plus a $5,000 retention bonus, and includes $40,000 in student loan assistance. Training is provided for new graduates.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Must have an active TX OT License, or the ability to obtain
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Lymphedema Therapist, Neurology, or Pelvic Health specialist preferred
