Outpatient Nurse

Accompany patients to exam rooms, prepare them for procedures, and perform and document vital signs. Administer medications with physician authorization, draw blood, and retrieve lab and x-ray reports. Provide patient education on office policies, medications, disease management, and home treatments. Coordinate pre-op workups, contact patients prior to procedures, and assist with post-procedure instructions. Order supplies, stock exam rooms, clean instruments, and dispose of biohazard waste per OSHA standards. Perform accurate documentation and front office duties as assigned. This role requires an RN with an ADN (BSN preferred), BLS and ACLS certification, and experience in a physician office setting.
