Job Summary
Transport patients to and from treatment sessions and community activities using company vans. Prepare clients for therapy and assist therapists with treatment activities as directed. Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment areas while managing clerical duties, scheduling, and daily treatment charge documentation. Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to help patients regain independence, ensuring strict adherence to HIPAA privacy practices and safety protocols. Requires a valid driver's license, two years of driving experience, and six months of healthcare environment experience. Full-time role at Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in Fairfield, Maine.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma
- Maintains a valid driver's license
- Current auto liability insurance coverage
- A minimum of two years' experience driving a motor vehicle
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of six months prior work/volunteer experience providing individual instructions in a health care environment
- Previous experience in patient care in a rehabilitation center
- Therapy students
- Demonstrates effective and professional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Able to relate and work with the disabled, ill, elderly, emotionally upset and at times, hostile people within the facility
- Able to work independently and part of a team
