Job Summary
MRI Technologist needed for outpatient imaging at the Helen F. Graham Center (Newark, DE) on a Full-Time Flex schedule (72 hours per pay) with Wednesday–Friday shifts, including dayshift hours. Responsibilities include performing MRI procedures, quality control, safety screenings, ensuring regulatory compliance (ACR, Joint Commission), entering accurate patient study data, coordinating workflow, obtaining clinical history and consent, verifying pre-authorization, maintaining patient confidentiality, using 2 patient identifiers, obtaining IV access, assessing patient status, operating contrast media injectors, and performing i-STAT testing with GFR calculations per departmental policies. Requires ARRT Registered Technologist, Cerner and Soarian training, and ARRT Advanced MRI Certification within 2 years of hire. Strong customer service and flexibility in duties/hours are required.
