Job Summary
Provide school-based outpatient therapy (individual, family, group) and teletherapy to students during the school day, before/after school hours, and occasionally during breaks. Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency and payer standards. Collaborate with school staff through Child and Family Team meetings, MTSS, IEPs, and staff consultations while attending parent-teacher conferences as clinically indicated. Ensure timely response to referrals with the first session within three weeks and deliver culturally competent, trauma-informed care that minimizes disruption to academic instruction. Maintain communication with families and guardians, including obtaining informed consent. Requires LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or LPA licensure in North Carolina. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
Required Qualifications
- LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or LPA (provisional or fully licensed in North Carolina)
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a school or outpatient setting
- Strong organizational, communication, and clinical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within school environments
- Required experience with completing DAs, treatment plans and clinical case notes
- Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
- Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
- Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
- Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems
- Background check and sex offender registry clearance
