Outpatient Infusion Nurse Canton

Job Summary
Conduct outpatient infusion treatments for oncology, gynecology, rheumatology, and primary care patients, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, IV hydration, and blood products. Perform phlebotomies, bone marrow biopsies, and supportive care infusions while viewing patients holistically to address physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs. Develop and evaluate individualized plans of care using evidence-based interventions, utilizing teach-back methodology to ensure patient and family education. Communicate accurate patient status, goals, and interventions to colleagues during rounds and handoffs, maintaining constructive relationships and resolving conflicts. Work day shifts Monday through Friday in the Ann Arbor, Canton, or Brighton clinics, with open hours from 8am to 6:30pm or 4:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from accredited nursing program
- BSN degree
- Agreement in writing to obtain BSN within five (5) years from date of hire or transfer to an RN role
- Current Michigan Nursing License
- BLS certification
- Chemotherapy Certification
- OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification

- Interpersonal skills necessary to initiate and maintain collegial relationships with coworkers and therapeutic relationships with patients and families
- Critical thinking skills necessary to perform principal duties and responsibilities of job description
- Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when planning and performing professional nursing care
