Outpatient Driver

Job Summary
Transport clients to and from PHP/Outpatient programs daily, maintaining logs for patient information, mileage, and vehicle inspections. Provide direct patient care by monitoring interactions, assisting with groups and cafeteria services, and managing meal transportation. Perform contraband searches and wand checks upon arrival, while conducting vehicle maintenance and keeping reception and locker logs. Document incidents of concern and report moving violations before shift end. Maintain cleanliness of the company vehicle and soda/coffee machines, ensuring a safe, healing environment. Adhere to behavioral health standards, confidentiality protocols, and all safety rules while building collaborative relationships with staff and patients.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid drivers license in state of employment
- Fewer than two (2) moving violations on driving record within a three (3) year period
- CPR certification
- Hospital-selected de-escalation technique certification
- One to two years of experience working in a behavioral health setting
