Job Summary
Outpatient Driver role (Part Time) responsible for transporting patients to and from programming under the Director of Clinical Services. Drive a van, develop transportation routes, engage professionally with patients, families, and referral sources, and document services in line with required accreditations. Travel outside the building for work-related purposes; ensure safety and compliance with Joint Commission/CARF standards; participate in safety and education trainings as required. This role supports behavioral health operations at River Vista Behavioral Hospital in the Columbus area, with opportunities for overtime and scheduling flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School diploma or GED
- One year of experience in health care field (preferred)
- State Driver’s License in good standing without infractions
- CPR (within 30 days of employment)
- Handle with Care (within 30 days of employment)
- Food Safe Certification
- Ability to develop transportation routes and travel for work
- Professional, courteous interpersonal communication with patients and staff
