Job Summary
PRN Outpatient CT Technologist at MUSC performs radiologic examinations for radiologist interpretation, ensuring timely, accurate, and safe imaging per CT protocol. Responsibilities include preparing the radiology suite and adjacent areas, coordinating with radiologists and clinics, ensuring equipment readiness and quality control, maintaining safety and infection control practices, and supporting a culture of safety. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
- 0 to 2 years of modality specific work experience, at least 1 year of X-Ray experience
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R)
- ARRT CT Registration must be obtained within 1 year in this position
- Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required (AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR/AED)
