Job Summary
Assess clients for appropriate care levels, identify trauma histories, and determine immediate risks of abuse or neglect. Collaborate with admissions to complete diagnostic assessments and develop family-focused training plans. Schedule and conduct therapeutic counseling sessions for individuals and families, adjusting service intensity based on acuity and accommodating evening appointments. Manage behavioral health crises using trauma-informed interventions and ensure timely referrals and discharge support. Consistently record client progress and provide accurate documentation for treatment plans and behavior management programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social work, or related field
- Active LPC, LSW, or MFT licensure
- License exam eligible
- Active driver's license
- Proof of auto insurance
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Previous work experience as a Counselor, Therapist, Social Worker, or Clinician
