Job Summary

The Outpatient Coordinator role provides customer service and administrative support across the outpatient department, including directing patients, visitors and staff to appropriate services and managing administrative processing during pre-admission, admission, service delivery and discharge phases. Based in Epworth Camberwell as a full-time position, the role requires experience in administration within a service-oriented environment, familiarity with hospital patient management systems (iPM/BOSSNet) and proficiency with Microsoft Office, to enable autonomous work and effective collaboration within a team. Desirable qualifications include Certificate III in Business Administration. The successful candidate will support reception duties, patient flow, and overall outpatient operations in a not-for-profit hospital setting with a focus on delivering high-quality patient experiences and administrative accuracy.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven and comprehensive background in Administration in a service orientated environment
  • Experience in Hospital Administration and/or Patient Services (Desirable)
  • Ability to work autonomously as required but to also work collaboratively and effectively within a team environment
  • Excellent customer service delivery
  • Previous working knowledge of hospital Patient Management systems i.e. iPM/BOSSNet
  • Experience utilising Microsoft office suite with ability to maintain data entry accuracy
