Job Summary
Outpatient Clinician provides individual, family and group psychotherapy in the Outpatient Center, applying therapy modalities and evidence-based practices to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism. The role involves building therapeutic relationships, monitoring progress, coordinating treatment with the Outpatient team (including the Outpatient Coordinator and Psychiatrist), and participating in quality improvement, documentation, and compliance. Responsibilities include leading groups, developing new procedures, assisting with marketing of outpatient services, maintaining high billable-hour performance, and ensuring HIPAA and regulatory compliance. Requires a Master’s degree in social work/counseling or related field, PA licensure as a clinical social worker, LPC, or psychologist, credentialing eligibility with Medicare/Health Choices within 3 months, and a minimum of 3 years mental health experience (plus 1 year with intellectual/developmental disabilities). The location is Souderton, PA (Cowpath Road – Main Campus).
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field
- Active Pennsylvania State License as a Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Psychologist
- Credentialing with Medicare and Health Choices within 3 months of employment
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with intellectual or developmental disabilities
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the mental health field
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate initiative
- Supervision and leadership ability
- Proficient in Microsoft programs
