Job Summary
Manage outpatient child and adolescent psychiatry services at Inova Kellar Center, including medication management (including MOUD clinic), partial hospitalization programs, and intensive outpatient programs. Deliver individual and group therapy services alongside psychological and educational testing. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising BC Child Psychiatrists, licensed therapists, clinical psychologists, and psychiatric nursing staff to support families across Northern Virginia and Washington, DC. Requires a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic degree, completed residency and child fellowship, and current Virginia unrestricted license. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine degree or Doctor of Osteopathic degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child Psychiatry
- Successful completion of an ACGME physician residency and child fellowship program
- Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia
- Virginia DEA
- Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors
- Ability to enroll as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
- Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership
- Appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with managing Substance Use disorders (Prescribing Suboxone)
- Board eligible/Certified in Addictions Psychiatry
