Job Summary
Coordinate medical follow-ups and provide life skills training to adults with serious mental illness while assisting clients in securing stable housing. Connect individuals with community-based services, benefits, and resources to support their recovery journey through compassionate, person-centered care. Deliver crisis intervention and stabilization services while managing an independent caseload within a multidisciplinary treatment team. Complete timely documentation in accordance with Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health and Medi-Cal standards. Participate in team meetings and case conferences to coordinate comprehensive client care. Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field
- Valid California Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
- Must be insurable under the agency's automobile insurance policy
- Successful completion of a Live Scan background check
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with adults experiencing serious mental illness
- Experience with Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (LAC-DMH) documentation and procedures
- Military-experienced candidates
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
