Job Summary
Conduct quality assurance reviews on internal and external outpatient coding specialists across Emergency Department, Observation, Same Day Surgery, and Facility-Based Clinic chart types. Validate accurate data abstraction into client electronic medical record systems while adhering to Official ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, AMA CPT, and CMS directives. Perform onboarding audits and training for newly hired coding consultants, track educational opportunities, and respond to client subject matter needs. Maintain a consistent coding auditing accuracy rate of 95% or better, report quality results, and assist in implementing quality improvement action plans. Provide educational sessions on error trends and notify management of compliance concerns. Requires HIPAA knowledge, confidentiality discretion, and adherence to productivity standards. This remote role supports e4health's mission to streamline clinical and financial workflows for over 400 hospitals nationwide.
Required Qualifications

- Promoting confidentiality and using discretion when handling patient information
- Ability to perform prolonged periods of desk working on a computer
- Talking, hearing, and near vision required
- Sensory perception (visual, auditory, and tactile) is essential
