Job Summary
Conduct physical exams, obtain medical histories, and diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide patient education on treatment plans. Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans and document patient care in electronic medical records while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current Florida State Physician Assistant license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a primary care or internal medicine setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in electronic medical record documentation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a managed care practice preferred
