Job Summary
Conduct objective assessments and develop comprehensive, individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under general supervision. Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision to rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Perform duties consistent with departmental policies, Mercy Service Standards, and mission values. Requires a current state license, BLS certification, and ability to lift 50 lbs with prolonged standing. Required Qualifications
- Current State license of Physical Therapy
- Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice
- BLS certified
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist
- Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients
