Job Summary
Operate POS system, process merchandise through register, handle cash and credit card transactions, and provide excellent customer service in a busy retail outlet. Maintain organized cash wraps, count cash drawer, and meet daily production quotas. Sort items from outlet tables into bins for commodity sales and perform cleaning across all store areas. After in-house training, operate equipment for material handling. Must be a team player with good math skills, clear communication, and ability to meet daily/weekly/monthly quotas. Must comply with I-9, background check, drug screen, and physical examination as part of employment requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Operate POS system according to company guidelines
- Read, write and possess good math skills
- Operate credit card terminal
- After in-house training, operate various types of equipment for material handling
- Team player mentality with the ability to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals/quotas
- Ability to work in a warehouse setting with noise, temperature variations, and dusty conditions
- Good communication with customers and team members
