Job Summary
Assist the Outlet Manager in planning and managing the Restaurant, Room Service and other food and beverage outlets to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service, compliance with corporate/franchise policies and procedures and federal, state and local regulations while meeting/exceeding financial goals. Monitor servers and busperson adherence to service standards; supervise service of guests; help establish and monitor sidework completion; maintain bank to HEI Hotels and Resorts standards; read daily communication sheets and prepare for next shift; check floor plan, cleanliness, setup, and service stands; ensure compliance with liquor requirements; communicate with the restaurant manager about events and house counts; assist in conducting menu classes and taste panels; provide clear written and verbal directions to staff; adhere to attendance rules and be available for regular shifts; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use point of sale
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push/pull carts weighing up to 150 pounds
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt communication style for different audiences
