Job Summary
The Outlet Steward is tasked with maintaining the cleanliness and proper storage of china, glass, and silver, ensuring the highest standards of sanitation. Responsibilities include heavy cleaning of kitchen equipment and work areas, operating dishwashing equipment, emptying garbage, assisting with restaurant setup and breakdown, and adhering to safety practices. Candidates should have strong knowledge of sanitation standards, safe handling of chemicals, and work well in a team environment. A high school diploma and Food Handlers Certification are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Food Handlers Certification (in compliance with California laws)
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to stand during entire shift
- Must be able to withstand temperature variations both hot and cold
- This role may require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
