Job Summary
Greet customers in the showroom, load and unload merchandise into the IST truck, and receive incoming purchase orders. Operate forklifts and the racking system safely to assemble, disassemble, and pack furniture while verifying accuracy for all items leaving the store. Maintain a clean, organized showroom and warehouse by performing housekeeping duties, adjusting lighting, and ensuring all merchandise has price tags and audio is playing. Report damaged items, changes of location, and assist with inventory audits as needed. Travel to other stores when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or GED
- Must be able to lift and/or push storage boxes weighing up to 40 lbs
- Must be able to climb and walk on a storage ladder
- Must be able to safely use a step ladder
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
- Self-motivated
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Team-oriented but able to work independently
- Resilient, with the ability to handle rejection and remain positive
- Strong Communication skills
- Customer Service oriented
- Ability to engage with customers and establish trust
- Comfortable using POS systems
- Travel to other stores due to business needs when necessary
