Job Summary
Outfitter Attendant will oversee daily outfitting operations and assist with recreation activities. Responsibilities include preparing rafts and drift boats for guided trips, stocking boats with food and beverages, setting up and checking out outfitting gear (fishing equipment, bikes, stand-up paddle boards, river tubes, archery, tomahawks, and other rentals), developing knowledge of fly fishing and river conditions, and transporting/assisting Guests and Members. The role involves loading gear, maintaining an organized equipment area, engaging professionally with guests, and supporting the Recreation Department and related activities such as archery, tomahawks, and rentals. The position requires strong customer service, communication, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to seasonal outdoor work environments.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience or knowledge of rafting, fishing, or any outdoor recreational position.
- Basic knowledge of and passion for outdoor activities.
- Prior experience in a customer-centric, customer-facing position.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
