Job Summary
In charge of all aspects of the team operation; motivates students and instructs student athletes in game strategies and techniques; provides a positive role model and encourages sport-like behavior; oversees rosters, practices, and game schedules; maintains inventory, issues uniforms and other equipment; organizes transportation; maintains required records and forms; handles related data; CPR/AED/First Aid and Coaching Education courses are required before working with student athletes, with optional/online training noted; Concussion Prevention Training is required before working with student athletes; employment is seasonal and temporary with duties assigned by the Athletics Director.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of skills and tactics of sport
- Experience coaching preferred
- CPR/AED/First Aid training
- Coaching Education online course
- Concussion Prevention Training
